2017 Pearl City Christmas Parade (12/3/2017)

The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association sponsored and presented the annual Pearl City Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Pearl City High School Project Grad coordinated the event.

Parade participants made their way along the parade route, lined with cheering neighborhood residents, beginning at Momilani Elementary School on Hookeikie Street and traveled along Hoolaulea Street, ending at the Pearl City Shopping Center, where the they turned in by the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.

Trophies and Pearl City Shopping Center Gift Certificates Awards were given to the top three entrants in the following categories during a ceremony held at the Pearl City Shopping Center fronting Finance Factors.

Best Marching Unit
1st – Our Lady of Good Counsel School
2nd – Pearl City Elementary
3rd – Momilani Fit Factory

Best Vehicle Unit
1st – Na Keiki O Manana
2nd – Pet Vet
3rd – Hawaiian Electric

Most Christmas Spirit
1st – Manana Elementary School
2nd – Central Pacific Bank
3rd – Pearl City Highlands Elementary

Sheri Rolf, representing the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association, presented Rhonda Higashihara from the 2018 Pearl City High School Project Grad committee with a $1000.00 check donation in support of PCHS Project and their efforts to secure a safe Graduation night experience for the PCHS Class of 2018.

The check donation was also presented with gratitude for the excellent job that the PCHS Project Grad committee members, supporters, and students performed in coordinating and organizing the parade.

BLEIZN Fx also hosted their annual CRUZ NIGHT Car Show at the Pearl City Shopping Center following the Pearl City Christmas Parade featuring a great selection of Hawai’i’s finest Hot Rods & Classic Cars. Mahalo to BLEIZN Fx co-owners Lei Naumu and Bernard Cabral and the BLEIZN FX ohana for another fantastic car show!
