Waipahu exploded for eight runs in the top of seventh inning to erase a 4-1 Pearl City lead that put the Lady Marauders up 9-4 for the win over the Lady Chargers on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in OIA Red Western Division Varsity Softball played at Pearl City High School.
Waipahu's Shevan DeFreitas earned the win pitching seven complete innings.
Pearl City's Kristin Frost took the loss for the Lady Chargers. Frost pitched 6 1/3 innings before being relieved by Cydny Rivera.
