Mililani hands Pearl City first loss 6-1 (3/21/2017)

Pearl City suffered their loss of the regular season to 6-1 to Mililani in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division I varsity softball action played at Mililani High School on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Mililani’s Misha Carreira earned the win for Lady Trojans allowing one run on four hits with three strikeouts and three walks over seven innings.

Pearl City’s Tyanna Kaaialii took the loss allowing six runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and six walks in six innings. It was the first loss of the regular season for the Lady Charger ace who is 5-1.

Mililani’s Tarah Aniya batted 2-3 with 3 runs scored. Markie Okamoto batted 1-3 with a home run, 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Merilis Rivera went 2-3 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored. Shannon Pascua-Stanton batted 1-3 with 1 RBI. Cherise Mori 1-3.

Pearl City’s Jaeda McFarland batted 1-2, Darian Obara 1-3, Tyanna Kaaialii 1-3, Cheyne Obara 1-3.

Mililani improved to 4-2 while Pearl City comes in at 5-1 in league play.
