Nanakuli defeated Pearl City 28-21 on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Nanakuli High School to take sole possession of first place in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division 2 regular season standings.

The Golden Hawks scored 21 unanswered second half points to erase a 21-7 first  half tdeficit to beat the Chargers on Homecoming Night. The win also sent the Golden Hawks senior class players out with a win as they played in their last home game of their careers.

Nanakuli ran their perfect league record to 6-0 while the Chargers fell to 5-1.
