Pearl City went down to Hilo 15-5 (F/4) in the first round of the 2017 Hawaii Little League Majors State Championship Tournament played at Puuiki Park in Waialua on Friday, July 21, 2017.

Tyler Halemanu earned the win for Hilo. Dylan Momohara got the start for Pearl City.

Kaimana Kuamo’o and Joshua Ward homered for Hilo.

Dylan Momohara homered for Pearl City.

Hilo moves on in the tournament to face Central East Maui on Saturday, July 22. Central East Maui defeated Kawaihau 4-1 on Friday to advance.

Pearl City will play Kawaihau on Saturday in the losers bracket of the double elimination format championship tournament.
