The Pearl City Chargers ran their OIA Western Division 1 Boys Varsity Basketball league record to 5-1 after defeating Kapolei 45-38 on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Pearl City High School.

The Chargers sit in second place behind league leading Leilehua who is a perfect 6-0. Kapolei is in third place at 4-3.
