Pearl City’s Sunshine Fontes kicked in the winning goal in the 22nd minute to defeat #2 Iolani 1-0 in the semifinals of the HHSAA Division 1 State Soccer Championships on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex Main Stadium.

The win places the Lady Chargers in the state championship title game against #4 Baldwin who advanced to the championship after turning back #1 Mililani 2-1 (2OT/PK) in the semifinal night cap.
