Pearl City avenged an earlier season loss to Waipahu with a 9-3 win on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in OIA Red Western Division Baseball played at Pearl City High School.
Tanner Tokunaga earned the win for the Chargers, Tokunaga allowed three runs on five hits with eight strikeouts and three walks in seven complete innings.
Joshua Maglangit took the loss for the Marauders. Maglangit allowed nine runs on eight hits with walks in 4 2/3 innings.
Pearl City improves to 6-3 in league play. Waipahu is 5-4.
