Plant lovers lined up early for a chance to pick up their favorite variety of “free” native Hawaiian tree or shrub. UH Master Gardeners were on hand to answer any questions the public had with regard to selecting the right tree or shrub, along with tips on how to properly care for their selections.
The Urban Garden Center Master Gardeners also held a plant sale with proceeds going towards Urban Garden Center programs.
