University Lab earned their way into the HHSAA State D2 Boys Volleyball Championship Tournament Semifinals after defeating Pearl City in the quarterfinals; 25-21, 25-21, 25-21 on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Kalani High School.

Isaiah Kalama-Izumi led the Bows with 11 kills, Sonny Tofi led all scorers with 14 kills for the Chargers.
