Kaaialii double trouble in Pearl City’s 1-0 (F/8) win over Campbell (4/11/2017)

Pearl City’s Tyanna Kaaialii proved to be double trouble for Campbell as the Lady Chargers ace pitched a three hit, 1-0 (F/8) shutout and also went 2-3 at the plate to beat the Lady Sabers on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Campbell High School.

Kaaialii struck out 10 while allowing 3 hits and no runs in 8 complete innings.

Campbell’s Danielle Cervantes took the loss allowing 1 run on 2 hits with 6 strikeouts in 8 complete innings.

Pearl City courtesy runner Maiki Au scored the winning run from third base in the top of the eighth inning.

With the win, Pearl City pulled into a tie with Campbell and Mililani at 8-2 in league play.

The Lady Chargers swept the Lady Sabers 2-0 in the regular season with Kaaialii earning both wins.
