Congratulations to Pearl City freshman Kainalu Pagente who won the Oahu Interscholastic Association Junior Varsity Cross Country Individual Championship on Saturday, October 14 at Pearl City High School.

Kainalu covered the 3 mile course in 18.31.46 (6:10.5 per mile). Kalaheo sophomore Kangsan Meyers finished runner-up with a course time of 18:52.68 (6:17.6 per mile).
