UPDATE: Pearl City Chargers Baseball and Softball Complex Construction (11.8.2021)

Nov 9, 2021

It’s really getting exciting as both the new Pearl City Chargers baseball and Lady Chargers softball synthetic fields and complex facilities are beginning to take shape.

In November, construction entered its seventh month with completion expected in March 2022. I shot photos of the construction on Monday and got an opportunity to visualize and capture through my lens what will soon be a true Charger diamond gem amongst the backdrop of the Koolau Mountains and scenic view of Pearl Harbor and south shore sunset.

The new construction is first class and built solid with an amazing baseball backstop being erected, fencing along with cement sidewalks around the complex perimeter, baseball bull pen base and fencing, crushed rock base being spread out throughout the complex playing field surface, and the base for a scoreboard. Yes, the Chargers and Lady Chargers fields will finally have a scoreboard. To add another bit of great news for Chargers fans (and players and coaches), there will also be restroom near the fields!

Okay Chargers, we’re getting closer to opening day and history being be made with Charger Pride leading the way!

Nice to chat with Coach Eric Boyles and Coach Bob Kim yesterday at PCHS!

GO CHARGERS!
